Catholic Charities Terre Haute is thrilled to announce the launch of its newly designed website at www.ccthin.org. This is the first time since their website launched in 2006, that Catholic Charities has redesigned their website on a new, more user-friendly platform powered by eCatholic. Thanks to a Capacity Building Grant awarded by Feeding America, Catholic Charities was able to completely overhaul the entire website giving it a more modern look, making it more user-friendly and providing easier access to resources for our neighbors.
The site features an updated Calendar system for emergency food assistance, afterschool activities and community events. Users will also find a newly added Events page and updated News section. In addition, those seeking to volunteer with Catholic Charities will find an online application form and a simple to follow step-by-step guide to completing the application process.
“Our development team has been looking for a way to revamp our website to make it more engaging, modern and user-friendly,” stated Jennifer Buell, assistant agency director for Catholic Charities. “Website design costs, cybersecurity and long-term upkeep made a new website seem out of reach. Thankfully, a grant from Feeding America and partnership with eCatholic allowed us to create a beautiful, engaging website that is cost-effective while providing our users with a best-in- class experience. We are truly excited for the community to begin using the resources available through this new website.”
Catholic Charities invites visitors to explore the new website. Every program features its own page with important information about the unique services provided and opportunities for our neighbors to seek out those resources. For those who download and share our Pantry and Mobile Pantry calendars monthly, you can still easily find and print: from the Homepage, click “Emergency Food Assistance” under Resources; if you choose to print, simply click the calendar icon in the top right corner of the calendar.
Catholic Charities prides itself on being fiscally responsible and is proud to share that the grant from Feeding America covered 100% of the cost of designing and building this new website, ensuring community donations continue to serve our neighbors.
